GENERAL
MEMBERSHIP COST
You have the option to pay $65 for an entire year or if you are busy some of the quarters, pay the $30 per quarter fee (ONLY CASH). In addition, all club sports members must pay $20 to Club Sports Online for ARC membership.
PRACTICE TIMES & LOCATION
Practice is held from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You can come to practice any time you want and any day you want. The courts are located on the fields at the Anteater Recreation Center.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME
We accept players from all skill levels from people just wanting to try tennis to advanced level players. We have courts arranged based on skill level from beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
PRACTICE AGENDA
At practice, we do drills and games on the courts and people are welcome to open hit on available courts. Sometimes, we also go out eat after practice together or go get something to drink.
BORROWING RACQUETS
We have racquets for people to borrow during practice only. If you are to borrow a racquet, bring ID on you for us to hold until racquet is returned.
SOCIALS
Tennis club has many socials such as bowling and ice skating.
COMPETITIVE TEAM
WHEN ARE TRYOUTS?
Tryouts are sometime during end of Week 2 or 3 of fall quarter. It's held on Saturday and Sunday for a couple hours.
HOW MANY PLAYERSÂ ON THE TEAM?
We have an A, B, and C Team with a practice squad depending on. Each team consist of around five guys and four girls.
HOW MUCH TIME DEDICATION DOES IT REQUIRE?
Practices are held on Monday and Friday from 7:30-10:00 PM. Tournaments are usually held one to two times a quarter and are Fridays, Saturday, Sunday.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
In addition to the $65 membership fee, players must pay $40 also. The $40 covers everything, such as travel expenses and uniforms.
